I know that is is very useful for every Website holder to submit website to DMOZ, But i heard that some people saying that it is free while others are saying that it is not free and paid related... so please tell me that whether it is free or not????
It's entirely free. Folks trying to bribe editors and editors who accept bribes are banned when caught.
http://www.dmoz.org/docs/en/add.html] is the link with the userend guidelines. The editor guidelines do not always match, and what editors say about that page will not always match... but that's all ya get The most basic of instructions are: Submit & Forget or Forget 2 Submit As in many cases, you have an equal chance of getting in by NOT submitting! If you are submitting to directories though, submit to this one, it certainly wont hurt... but if you don't submit to directories in general, why bother? You forgot luck & time
They're right there on the suggestion form and the linked submission guidelines that you acknowledge that you've read and agreed on each occasion. For even more detail, Google for editor guidelines.
@danpotter007 As if being troll is not bad enough for you, you must post idiotic question as well. Why don't you take your sorry ass visit DMOZ and see for yourself what it says. fastreplies
Story of my life. Every asshole thinks that being an idiot is his God given right including you my little poppy. So, next time you wanna say something "intelligent", spit cock out from your moth first. fastreplies
Yes you are right, its free but difficult to get listed... I am trying from one year but now one of my site is listed in Dmoz One's your site will be listed then lot of traffic will come from Dmoz.
I don't know about that, but the few folks around here that have statistics on this rather than folklore would disagree with you.
My traffic stats showed 1 visit to my site from Dmoz in 2009. I figured it was someone looking for dropped domains or someone scraping info for a directory.
Come on boy, don't be shy. Pedos like you know how. All you have to do is to remember to take it out when you talk to some one. fastreplies
Well, I dont want to pay 299.00 but I'd be willing to pay an editor 150.00 for a listing (for a site I havent created yet).
nobody can't say when and how you get listed in dmoz but submission is all we can do. i liked the rule: Submit & Forget [or] Forget 2 Submit...
