Please Review my Ad Placement: Horrible CTR and CPC

    ad on top in the banner section is a no go IMO. looks tacky and no1 will ever click it. keep the ads in the flow of the site.

    Yes,I don't expect much from it. However, since I had an ad-unit to spare I put it there. I made it image only, so that it won't compete with the rest of my text ads.

    The two ad blocks within the post are my main concern. The number of clicks over there halved after I changed themes. Is am using a serif font for both content and ads, but I am worried that there might still be a large mismatch. Any thoughts on that?

    I think it was the font. Although 12 hours is too early to say anything for sure, it seems to have helped. Previously I was using a Serif font by Google for content and Times for Adsense. Now I am using Verdana for both.
