Has anyone else read about dashcom domains? Its a pretty cool concept and they are allowing alll dashcom domains to be registered for free. i managed to snag a few decent ones - anyone else get any? site is: dashworlds(.)com
I registered a bunch of decent dashcom domains, I even read somewhere someone sold one for $300 bucks.
I went to their site. But I don't see where they offer any -dash- domains for free? Am I missing something?
Go to www. dashworlds .com just type in your ideal domain music-com if available which I doubt they now have close to 400k domains regged just add the domains to your basket and checkout they are free.
Looks like a nice concept, but it looks like you would need to download something to view the dashcom sites, which is kind of an extra step that most people might not want to take.
On further examination it looks like they are Non-ICANN domains which run on a alternate-root DNS. I'ii pass on this deal, not the least bit interested.
This is similar to the older new.net domains. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/New.net People can only view the dashcom domains if they download a dashcom plugin. Search engines do not use these plugins so therefore they will not index these sites.
