trying to market a Forex service in the Gulf area - any tips ?

I have setup an affiliate program with www.easy-forex.com.
I am trying to get some traffic from the Gulf Region with - possibly - a high demographic profile.
Anyone here who can get me started?
Or give some tips?

I would start looking at some local sites search engines and directories, good luck.

 

use adwords to get traffic from desired country , however i suggest try some other asian countries too with fast economy .

 

That's a pretty generic response. Obviously he would want traffic from search engines, what do you mean "look at"? If you were going to respond atleast put some thought into your response.

Directories? Sure, but not for direct traffic. It would be to help his position in the search engines and to get more incoming links.

 

Have you tried payperclick marketing in those areas?

 

I think Lonny's response was completely valid. Since the OP stated that he was looking to target a specific area, local directories are a great way to accomplish this. Most general web directories do only improve rank, but directories designed for a specific area will bring actual traffic.

 

Well, i have some experience in gulf area... best things to do:

- Use Adwords targeted campagins (IT really works)
- Use (submit or sponsor) their search engines (they do use them alot such as: ayna.com, naseej.com)

i can tell that forex trading is the new trend along with local stock exchanges so UAE is a good place to start, dubai in specific. i recommend yellowpages.ae to submit your service (or advertise).
