Open eBay store?

What is the reason behind to open an eBay store? Any idea? Just wonder what is the different eBay store vs normal posting? Any idea? Just cannot understand what is the actual reason behind to open an eBay store. Please help. Thanks

It's just simply because eBay is well known when it comes to selling lower priced products and a lot of people use eBay to buy and sell products. Maybe because eBay is just very famous. Yeah maybe it is a trustworthy site that's why.

 

The first and foremost reason to open a Ebay store is the sellers are charged less to post an individual item in an ebay store rather than posting it as an auction or a fixed price item. The next reason is you can design your own Ebay store as per your taste and ability. Yes you can also make it as an online inventory for your products.

However, I guess the most important aim of opening an ebay store should be, to keep the buyer engaged in going through your Store, rather than searching for some items from other seller
So make the store in such a way that once the buyer visits it, he/she will never want to leave the page or your store !

There are a few advantages of ebay store...

- you have your own unique URL (you can promote your ebay store link in articles, blogs, forums)
- cheaper fix price listing fee
- create your own brand on ebay

Having your own store can be easier for you as far as listing especially if you want to continue to sell the same product by just putting as store listing it will renew automatically as a good till cancelled item. If you sell only auction there still is some advantage but if you do not sell alot the 50 free listings a month that ebay is offering for non store owners is not a bad deal to start.

Ebay store is different compare to other normal posting. eBay is world's online marketplace, it is a place where buyers and sellers come together and trade almost anything. It is user friendly website. On Ebay sellers use different method to sell their product like affiliate programs where sellers can promote their own listings and also cross-promote other sellers' items, earning commissions for every purchase. Ebay store also uses other technique like feedback, free shipping, auction listing etc..

 

I wouldn't worry about making an eBaY store unless it becomes worth it to do so.
