I think first you need to get good real people in your forum.. then you need to contact some of the advertiser to get pay for advertising ....
Update forum regular basis with rich content, do some seo work...try to get attract search engine. As many number of pages of your forum index by search engine as there chance to attract advertiser to post add at your forum.... Hope this should be helpful
