    No its not free, there's a monthly fee that you have to pay in order to be part of it.

    It depends on how you value your time. Yes it is free but it takes a lot of learning and effort to make it profitable, unless you just get lucky.

    Well actually its not free because they give you only 68% of total ad earnings. But its free to apply and if they accept your application, you wake up a rich man!

    I've tried getting google Adsense account almost 2-3 times using my website which has really good PR of 4 but I didn't get any reply till now...should I try through any other gmail account?

    adsense team never bother your PR or traffic, they care majority on the content
    Just wait, they will reply you no matter it is accepted or rejected
