sorry but I think I will change to other project. good luck everyone and thanks for FF to pay me all of my payout.
Would that not be pointless now as you don't deal with payments now and wouldn't be able to go against your fellow colleague and overturn hos decision would you? But you could just deactivate my account
@Darkangel21: I don't send the payments but it's a lot easier for me to get an answer regarding why a payment was declined, and possibly get it overturned, than it is for you to do so by emailing . I won't follow it up if you don't want me too though.
Had someone pm you regarding the payments a couple days ago as I didn't think anything would get done if I pm'd you myself, trust issues you see if he gets helped so would I. Had a reply and responded back, now just waiting on a reply again.
I hope that the per downloads payment is not stopped.. There is a problem with only sales commission payments. Let's say I have a 1GB file and a free user tries to download it and stops in the middle deciding to purchase an FF premium account the next day. He switches off the computer that night, gets up in the morning and buys a premium account and downloads my file. Now the reason he purchased the premium was because of me, but obviously it wont be reflected in my account. I'm sure this (or something similar to this) happens a lot. I dont mind this, but if the per download payment is stopped or further decreased, it might be a problem..
What is the commission rate for per sale only plan ? does it also include 20% referral commission ? Is current file tier stable or will it again change when some change made in existing scheme, as re uploading to new sizes is very difficult job to uploader. Thanks
@Darkangel21: I'll go check my PMs and make sure everything has been replied too shortly. @nekronot: The referral data is tracked for 48 hours, so in the situation you've illustrated, that would be tracked correctly. If you have suggestions on other ways we can track sales, please let me know (not being sarcastic, I'm serious, we're open to suggestions). @dkp: The commission rate will be 50 - 60% so it's 30 - 40% more than the standard commission you'd get. In cases where sales are high, we can push this further, but the higher we go the more memberships need to get sold or there's no point in us doing it, because we're losing a large portion of each sale as soon as it comes in. The current file tiers should be stable but I can confirm this in a week or so. Once we see how people are responding over the next few days, we'll have a better indication.
In rules page its given We pay you 20% of the earnings from new affiliates who you referred to FileFactory. Which link to be given to new uploaders ? as its not given in account page
I had some files removed by DMCA; therefor I got the decline from November 8, 2010: 100$ (the files were Black Lagoon (deleted 13 Oct, 2010) und all downloads together were 138 files/676 downloads). The week after the payout was ok. All other payouts were declined and no, I never made remote-upps and notifications always was "none". I wrote an email to FF:
Just got my payment that was declined a month ago! Thanks FileFactory! I have a note about new rewards program also....I have uploaded a lot of large files (some of them was larger than 1 GB, or even 1.5GB), and with new file size tier they worth just like 300mb files. Basically all my effort adding such a large files is kind of gone.... Is it possible to add a feature so every uploader could decide if he gonna let free users to download such a large files? Or even choose size of files that will be inaccessible to free downloaders...this could motivate a users to buy more premium accounts.
Only way now to earn reasonable reward is to reupload those large files in 75/125/300 MB parts, i know this is difficult job but what to do there is no other option . Also if you mirror files to other hosting sites no one will buy premium from filefactory.
this stupid new reward system will ruin the uploaders who was used to with Filefactory only. But users who would have very high download (mirroring) will get benefit. Amazing!! The host which was supporting exclusive FF uploader has turned their back.
Better they bring back those mirroring rule back again than to put those exclusive FF uploaders away. If they had sustained the previous plan & added new scheme as a 2 option to users who want to mirror then everything would have been fine. New scheme only benefits mirroring users as FF give them 50 to 60 % sales commission while giving exclusive users only 20% nearly 1/3rd of mirroring users rewards who earn from other hosting sites too .
I wholeheartedly agree. They had achieved near perfection with their previous arrangement and should have just stuck with that. I'll give this new scheme a couple of weeks, hoping that the FF will eventually come to it's senses and put things back in order. After that, I'll start looking for a new host.
my declined payment was reversed and recieved it today, thanks to FF for the help and support, obiviously with this new reward payment there will be no more declined payment. Is there a chance to remove the captcha for the remote upload ?!
