Fileserve's dirty trick to lower our downloads and increase their premium sales

Captca was not recognized when i tried to download last Wednesday (24 Nov 2010) morning, on 25 & 26 it worked fine.

 

Something must be there as my download counts have gone down pretty low this month. I used to earn $20 a day in September but now it hardly reaches $8 a day. It only proves fileserve's decreasing poularity or increasing difficulty in downloding files. I am disappointed. It is true that all good things come to an end one day. Ricky it's time to act. What difference?

If you're trying to tell me that we shouldn't take action against people who likes to use anti-recaptcha plugin and programs that allowed to abuse our service extensively by starting parallel downloads, I don't think we live on the same planet mate.

The planet I'm on is called Earth, so if we're on the same planet, please tell me how you'd feel getting mugged off by leech creeps? If you want to leech, buy a Premium or shut your mouth and type your captchas by hand.

And if a captcha isn't recognized blame Google. We do not check the captchas and are solely based on what google feeds us.

What good has come to what end? Same vomit was leaked on this forum (and others I'm sure of) when we started using reCaptcha. Obviously that was the end of the autoleech era, so get with times and relax yourselves. We are lenient towards people and rules, but when you have blatant abusers of a system which is already "laxed", we take great pride in showing them the right way. Sometimes you feed a dog by the hand, and when you've done that enough it's going to bite off your whole arm.

Furthermore, our popularity has been increasing since September. Go check Alexa for more. Gives you a pretty good idea where we're heading.

I'm probably more disappointed than you are knowing that there are people who can't appreciate a good system.

I just checked your posts and your a moron only complaining against every file host because you have no clue how it works.

thats why every filehost has affiliates to make more premiums, and to say it simple from premium members fileserve and others can't make anymore money, so why would they pay us for them...fileserve is a business to make money not a free source of money for affiliates, unlike what some people seem to think.

...That being said, we don't shave so take that stick out of your arse and move on.

 

I find that when these file download services are being hit by many people, they have to find others to reduce their download speed, it shouldn't come as a surprise

I am a premium user and I bought the premium membership for 2 years which includes (2010 till the mid of 2012). Why I am getting captchas as far as I know that there are no daily limits but I am having this issue since I bought the account. I never use Fileserve as Free.

I also tried to open the ticket on the website but got no responce. And I have noticed that when my downloader start asking me captchas and I go to a website and try to login the website says that there is no user account of that name.

I made this account so that I could write one post, since I seen this guys problem with fileserve and thought I'd chime in... First off, I've had the same problem with fileserve as the TS... Just jerk you around on the free stuff because they don't want to lose money... Very shady dealings... But that's not what I'm writing about.

I wanted to let everyone know that I signed up for a premium account, and it wouldn't let me log in, I contacted customer support and they gave me the run around for 15 out of the 30 days I had an account (trying to get me to sign on via hidemyass.com and all sorts of other stupid things that did nothing to fix the situation), on the 15th day after the really slow 2-3 day email response from FS, I gave up and asked paypal for my money back. At that point, I got a nasty email from fileserve and they stopped trying to help me, 35 days went by, not once was I able to use fileserve, not once did they try to make things right, and they even fought with me through paypal to try and keep the money. Finally I got my money back from paypal..

I tell you, these guys are scam artists, I know companies need to make money, but shit, you'd think they'd be honest in there dealings... If something doesn't work, and you can't fix it in a timely manner, then give the customer the money back WTF!!

Anyway, I could prove all this by posting all the emails that were sent back and forth, and posting my paypal status etc... But I don't care to, so take it for what it's worth, since I'll probably never stumble across this post again... Oh and since a poster named Ricky seems to be affiliated with FS I'll add one more thing.. Ricky just wanted to let you know that I'm truly upset that I couldn't get FS to work, as I like the coverage your company has... Really it's just to bad your customer service was so poor, and the nasty email + paypal fighting really left a sour taste in my mouth, or else I'd actually give you another chance.

i know this topic is old but i think FS is starting to do this tricks again , im gettin the same error on cpatchas on any B.rowser, and gotta keep refreshing, then even when i get thru it says

RickyFS, don't treat your non-paying customers like dirt. Without free users, filehosting sites clam up quickly. It would be nice if you spent more time looking into reported problems rather than composing rants. Now I'm not going to go as far as to say there's some dirty trick going on. I've been using FileServe for a long time without issue. However, after downloading many files over the past couple of days, suddenly I'm now getting this string of failed captchas over and over (using Firefox, it's up to date). Don't just blame Google either. If there's no dirty trick going on, then clearly there is a problem with it communicating with your website at times. I believe it's in your best interest to look into why this is happening, as you're the one standing to lose users and customers. If free users have issues downloading off FileServe, then they'll report it the person uploading files and very likely the uploader will get premium on a different site.
