Since I'm primarily checking the site out before starting to pay for things I've been trying to download a few things from the "Slow Download" links, but none (or possibly very few) of them seem to work. I'm always told that "Download Error:
Free users may only download 1 file at a time." or something similar.

This is not the kind of website I'm going to bother paying for if the general quality of the downlod links is no better than that.

Usually this happens when you share an IP with someone ... What ISP are you using? If your IP is also used by someone else, then as a free , one of you may download a file at the same time.

I've been doing this on my home computer, and the IP is, as far as I know, unique to that.

As for location I'm in the UK, but I can't see how that should impact the website.

 

Hish, what about statistics? I am PPD and still 0 downloads for this day (whereas previous days were fine).

Thing is Hish - this has been (and obviously still is) a real problem for UK users. I have completely given up trying to download from filesonic without a premium account as I get the same problem, and no - I'm not sharing an ip with anyone lol ... And yes - a premium account does solve the 'UK issues', but who's going to hand over their hard earned cash for a paid service when the free service doesn't work ?
I asked a few pages ago if there had been any progress with this but got no reply - I took that as a big NO. At the moment the 'UK Issues' are about 75% of the reason I can't commit to filesonic (the other 25% being lack of email support, which I was very pleased to see you say this will be solved soon).
Just to make a point Hish - this only happens with filesonic - I must have used maybe 8 or so different hosts this week - non of them have this problem with UK users. I am aware of the reason's you give for the problems, but others seem to have solved it.
Oh and to make a further point - the UK is one of the top tier countries as far as ppd goes - there must be a hell of a lot of downloads going 'missing' because the people simply can't get past the capcha stage, and therefore a hell of a lot of lost earnings by affiliates.

It's such a shame I really do hope this gets solved soon.

Those files has to be deleted if they are under Copyrighted. No matter on which filehost you upload, it will be deleted within 1-2 days.

 

many of my users too are complaining about this. they simply cant get to download any file as a free user!

anyway am selling good premiums
