$35 header contest for website - payment paid via Paypal.

This contest is for a header for our travel agency which arranges fishing and hunting trips. We are pretty open about the design but want it to pop and get the attention of our target audience which is fisherman and hunters. Feedback will be provided.

Thanks for the entry. The colors and design is nice and straight forward. Probably too much emphasis on the airplane and less on the hunting and fishing.

We asked for the size to be 960x300 pixels as we wanted a larger canvas to work with. Thanks!

 

Good start. A couple of suggestions.

#1) like the mountains but the company names sort of blends in too much with them making it hard to read. Like the font though. Maybe move the name up higher and a little larger to offset the background.

#2) I would swap out the third and fourth photo and replace them with a salt water fishing picture and a wingshooting (duck, dove or pheasant) picture. More representative of our offerings.

#3) add our url to the header: www.anglershunterstravel.com

Good start. I like the images although there seem to be a lot going on. Maybe too much. A couple of suggestions:

#1) the font for the agency name. I would like something more masculine. The curvy font for travel is just not working for me.
#2) As I said I like the images. Especially the three larger ones as it shows our core business: wingshooting, sportsfishing and big game hunting. A couple of tweeks:
a) remove the pheasant at the top and use the space for the name
b) the mountains behind the fisherman doesn't go with the sailfish and is distracting. Not sure if the orginal image was in a boat or sky behind them but that would be more consistent with the context of the image.
c) six small pictures. there are too many of them. how about dropping the first and last and making the remaining four a little larger so they stand out more.

Overall I like your header a lot. It has good balance, color and images. Thank!

Good colors. Nice and bright. The words have to be changed to our company name which is Anglers and Hunters Travel.

Some empty space above the four smaller pictures. Perhaps make them larger so they are a little easoer to look at.
