How do I add text to a tags page

Hi,
I'd like to show text on a Wordpress tags page. I know this can be done as there is an area inside the admin area that lets you drop in some text but states that only certain themes will enable this feature.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

It depends on the theme you use, there are tons of theme out there, so hardly can help.

 

That pretty much sums it up. Use a compatible theme.
If there is a file that creates the Tags page, maybe something like tags.php, then you can edit that file to display what ever text you need.

 

I think your theme needs to use the 'Tag description' tag in it's theme. You can find out more here - http://codex.wordpress.org/Function_Reference/tag_description
