hi All, When I do email marketing, (I collect email randomly from facebook or some name card I collect) I found that the email I send out, usually drop into the receiver SPAM/JUNK box I personally create few email from YAHOO, GMAIL, HOTMAIL, and use my business email to drop them some email, and found that the email receive from my business email drop into SPAM/JUNK box. Usually how to solve this issue?
If you're harvesting emails from random peoples' accounts, then what you're doing is spamming (potential $15,000 fine per email sent) and your emails are being dropped in the correct area. Apparently enough people using those email providers said your emails were spam, so now they automatically get dropped in to the spam box. If you don't want that to happen, have people opt into your mailing list before you go sending them anything.
Common. There are much better ways to get people's email addresses. Legally. People happy to get your emails.
I encounter with the same problem before in email marketing, I just make a different emails, send it one by one. I thik they say email software is also good but i don't have a lot idea about it. Anyone knows????
"potential $15,000 fine per email sent" this is interesting... May I know who will be the legal party to fine those spammer?
It doesn't make any difference how "you" judge it, the fact is it is spam. I have had this argument on numerous occassions with various clients over my years in the web industry. It doesn't matter if the information is related to the recipients interests. If they did not specifically request that information from you by opting in to your mailings then you are spamming. He is talking about US law. Quite a lot of people on this forum forget that not everyone is bound by US law and the fines, etc. that are set out by enforcement agencies in the US.
