Hey everybody, I've been optimizing my AdSense ads since 2006 on this website and while I think they're pretty decent I'd like to get some third-person responses on what you think could help. I've tried 336x280 in the content, it did alright, Leaderboards were alright also, but as you can see I'm currently using adlinks above & below my content with the company of a 468x60 TXT/IMG ad directly below where the downloads are placed. I've been making over $10 a day and even seen a $15 day! Your responses with comments, suggestions, criticism, congratulations are all welcome. http://evilpsp.com/ Thank you!
Well, currently I see only adlinks and one adsense 468x60 at the bottom of the article, could be improved upon! You're losing money as we speak. I don't understand why you reverted to this ad placement since you tried better ways.. Are you sure it works the best for your site?
Well I seemed to get more clicks by inserting 336x280 TXT ads into the content, but the CPC was lower then using adlinks. Which is why I am focusing on adlinks more. I believe you that they could be improved upon! I just don't exactly know what could be improved.
Well firstly, the adsense are easier to earn money because there's only one click involved for gain, two clicks for adlinks. So if the 336x280 was too big for your site layout, try the smaller ones as 300x250 or even 250x250. I assume you inserted them using div float left, if not, then look into that. Then replace your 468x60 at the end of your articles by 336x280.
Well I have written a blog post about a small css trick so that you can let the text of your article begins and then only have the ad, you can also have several. Look in my example I start with the first ad on the right, but it's easy to adapt it to first left. http://blog-money-wiki.com/blog/200...le-trick-to-insert-an-image-within-a-text.php It will look more natural, integrated in the article.
You're welcome, well I don't know what else to improve, I guess you'll have to run it a few days and report back with new stats, see if you can improve some more (always possible hehe) Good luck with your niche, it's not a good one for adsense I think you know, low CPC (why i don't know) and very low CTR (because of the technical audience) but with high traffic you can still get money.
You should see the CTR% of my PC Tips website I think everyone who visits that site runs ad-block addon for FireFox in Linux lol But the CPC is high!
