150% CTR --- Am i in danger?

Hello


I normally have %2-%3 ctr on my sites

for a particular day i got %150 ctr for only a few views

and the problem is i didnt do anything . i believe i was click bombed as i was advertising in some banner networks



The problem is that its been 2-3 days and i got money from the clicks ( $40 )

What should i do? Should i report it ? Will i get banned ?
That was for a day only , its normal for two days

wouldnt i get banned by now?


My monthly overal CTR is %1 and some Million ad views

 

I guess someone would like to get you banned from Adsense!

Simply one of your competitors or a close enemy!

I think you should have sent an email to Adsense telling them about what happened and that it wasn't normal at all as you stated in your topic here.
As I know, they understand these situations in a great way!

i reported this to google..

I how it shows good will as i invest a lot to my network ..

 

Maybe some guy just found something interesting in your ads and he clicked more than once.For example in leaderboard you can see 5 links even, so maybe he clicked 2 or 3 of that links or something like that.

Personally i think that you could be in trouble... I would advise that until Google get back to you, that you remove the ads for now or risk it happening again!

 

Google does not ban right away, it will take some time to get to your fraud alert... That's why it never pays to be traffic to a site with adsense...

 

Wouldnt it help that i reported it ?

 

Hopefully that's the case, we'll have to wait and see... Google is real arrogant when it comes to banning people...

 

I have 20 sites .. The problem site is one

If i get banned because of one site will then lose the right to have google ads again on any other site? ( other account ? )

 

sometimes they ban just a url and other times they ban yours adsense account.

 

Yeah thanks .. What i ask is if the ban my account i cant add any other adsense code ( other person ) on the sites?

if you have only few views, then once in a while its ok to get high ctr like that. sometimes one or 2 people will click every single ad they see. but if you have lot of visitor and that high ctr, then its not normal.

if you are not doing anything funny, then i dont suggest you to contact adsense and report this yourself. but if you are doing something funny yourself and promoting your site in a manner yuo are not supposed to, then be careful

 

Why worry about being banned. Just create decent websites. If you do get banned, at least you don't look like an asshole when you try to appeal.

Better track the ip, if same ip then better report to adsense

I would suggest you to check your traffic logs or see if you have tracker if anyone trying to get u banned then Take his ip and contact Adsense

 

150% is way too high
max ctr is around 5%
you will get banned because google will think that you get invalid clicks which a risk to their advertisers
