Best Compression Software

    Anyone know's what the best compression software is ? Like compressing a 1.5 gig folder
    to something lower like 800 mb or something ?

    It totally depends on the content of the folder (mp3, txt, mpg, doc, html, etc).

    RAR is a pretty good all rounder.

    Why do you need to compress it?

    there are mp4 video's in the folder and want to compress the folder smaller so i can email it .
    1.5 gig is too large

    mp4 video's, these types of videos cannot be compressed even if you go for any type of compression software.
    only option is using winrar split in to 2 files and attach it
