Contest Need a site header and logo, winner gets $30

We need a site banner and a logo for a handyman site.

It would be awesome if you can somehow incorporate the logo into the banner and vice versa.

I would like the banner to be 755x198px

I would like both header and logo to say:
SouthJerseyRepair.com
Your Local Handyman

We will announce winner on Tuesday, November 23 @ 8pm
Payment will be made by Paypal
W will leave feedback to people who participate
We reserve the right to have the favored design modified to our liking.

We also reserve the right to cancel the contest if no one is able to produce something we like

Winner will receive $30.00

 

What colours do you want in it, or shall we just decide?, I would say, a bit more information on the thread about what kind of logo you want could help us out.

 

You guys have total creative control.

Its a website for a local handyman in the area. I dont want any pictures that resemble clipart from microsoft.

Is there anything else that you would like to know?
I cant think of anything off the top of my head.

I will comment and leave feedback on all participants work so that it will be more to my liking.

i dont have a logo... this is what this posting is for.

I wanted you guys to create a logo and a banner.... it would be great if you can incorporate the logo into the banner.

 

The website is not up.... like i said, you have total creative control.

I dont want a straight rip off from my competition lol. I was just showing what it is that i liked. Your design is too similar.

I liked the red one better... but can you change the man to something else, maybe a logo or icon. I dont want any pictures of an actual person on the banner. The banner is not what I had in mind, but I would have to say that it is the best one yet.

I dont know what are the words to describe it, its too web 2.0... I am not sure if i am using the term right. But most definitely remove the guy, hes the ugliest one so far lol. And its South Jersey NOT New Jersey

Yours seems kool, I like the last one (without the guys) that you made. I would have to say your in 2nd place, just below vorseraider. Can you add something else so that it wont look too plain though. Also add something that will fill up all that space that is available. And can you change how the font looks like in the white box, making it blend with the logo. It looks like you just typed it inside a pre-existing design. I especially liked the hammer and wrench icon, thats a kool logo.

A lot better then the first one. It seems a little plain though, can you add something else to it? And Can you change the icon to something else?

 

On top of everything else that i wrote before, can I see different variations of fonts on South Jersey Repair (on top of your local handyman)
