Hello again I really don't know what to do to get more traffic , i still follow all the rules like quality content, link directory etc. But to be honest i noticed that all traffic that come from directory not convert at all and most of the time they have a bounce time very ridiculous. i really need tips to increase my traffic, but i think the most problem is that my website isn't in english so i can just get localized traffic.. any help would be very appreciated
hi can i ask you one thing is your site getting traffic from search engines, if yes then you can build the content things will fall in place. If your main source from directory then the conversion will be less!
The directory listings are mainly for backlinks. Try writing articles to get traffic. Before you spend much time on articles, make sure you know how to do your keyword research. One good keyword can equal thousands of dollars. One good keyword on the first page of Google (article sites are the fastest way). Where does your site rank for its main keyword? Is your main keyword a high traffic keyword? What is your competition for the keyword?
Its hard to get traffic. Two main reasons: 1: So many retarded people these days, who don't want to try anything new. 2: So many lazy people, who are too lazy to try something new. You can have really a good website, but still you can waste lots of time to get traffic, because of 2 reasons i mentioned before.Most people now stick to few websites and they just visiting them and they saying they are bored and bla bla bla , because they are little retarted to try something new.

For example topic creator has 17 posts in this forum, so why don't you add your site url into your signature? like that you could get some traffic and backlinks too.
If there was a secret I'd like to know what it is. Before June, the site I'm working on used to get 500 UV a day referred from another site of mine. I submitted it to a few free directories (maybe 50-100 of them over a few months, not squillions - one is DMOZ), its in the sig of all forums I post on, I *have* to add content every week or Google drops it from search results, but it is now up to 4000UV a day with a definite upwards trend and is on page 1 or 2 for most of the keywords I'm targetting (with no ranking at all for the new ones I just put in, Google doesn't index static sites very fast) so people are writing about it on their own blogs, which is great. I'm expecting it to overtake my biggest site for traffic early next year. Of course, in the last 5 months the adsense revenue has only gone up from $5 a month to $10 a month, but hey, the traffic is up almost 10fold. Maybe when it gets 20k UV I'll crack the $1 a day mark
