    Hello friends

I have an account with justhost.com and suspended without any prior intimation.
They are advising me to go for a dedicated server. Why should i select their dedicated server which may have the same problem again.

Every one says, unlimited storage/bandwidth etc. A simple html site which gets 8000 visitors per day cant survive in justhost !!!

As you probably aware there is an 10% server recourses usage limit, as we've found from our reports your account uses approximately 13.45% of server's MEM so we forced to suspend your account.
I strongly recommend your to upgrade your account with dedicated server.

For your reference, here is a copy of your usage report:

    Top Process %CPU 36.0

    Top Process %CPU 24.0 /usr/bin/php /home/online37/public_html/mysite.co.in/index.php
    Top Process %CPU 20.0 /usr/bin/php /home/online37/public_html/mysite.co.in/index.php

Just Host offer unlimited hosting space and unlimited bandwidth, but as per our
terms we will suspend any website which exceeds our 10% MEM policy. We hope that
    you understand our position in
ensuring that we provide the best possible service. In order to continue to
provide this high quality service, you will need to upgrade to a dedicated
server, which will give you an abundance of
additional resources and speed up your website.

That happens with any host. If you are getting 8000 visits then its worth to go for VPS or reseller package from hostgator.

And I guess your video scrap script may have caused this to happen.

Read your TOS. Sounds to me like they are not doing anything any differently than any other provider.

pradimani, that the correct way. Just move to other web host. You got options and choices..

Yes, but this was quite unexpected. There was no intimation regarding this before the account goes suspended. Only that makes me disappointed. We dont get time to take back up and change the hosting, so a downtime and loss of money !!! Even though I am earning very less.
I have tried godaddy also, but my electionresults.co.in got blocked on 16th may 2009, the day election results were announced in india, and my domain topped in google. In the early morning there were about 1000 visitors online (tracked with whosamungus) just after that I could not see my website !!! That time i said good bye to godaddy. This time to justhost. I think its time to think about dedicated server. But I am not earning that much !!!!

Try to look at webhostingtalk.com mate, you can find a lot of less known reseller hosting plan that cheaper than famous hosting. You can also check the reviews from the community before you buy.

    Hope this helps.

You should have read reviews about jushost.com on web hosting reviews sites, there are already many negative reviews about them.

Shared hosting will not allow u to use more than 10% of the resources, there is nothing wrong with that. If they allow u to consume above that they would go bankrupt.
You could always upgrade to vps plans and if that doesn't fit then u could take a dedi. Go step by step.

Hey masterrio, i was worried about this suspension just because they didnt inform me about this so that I will get some time to have a look in to this matter. They states my wordpress site is consuming more server resources, actually it was getting just 1000+ visitors per day. One of its sub domain is getting 8000+ visitors. So there might be some problem with my wordpress site or its plugin which might be eating their resources.
They didnot give a prior information regarding the suspension, they just simply suspended and sent a mail which is really unacceptable and not a professional way i think.

actually I am not surprised with that, as I had encountered similar instances with a couple of hosts some time back. First, they would suspend and later state as since ur site was consuming lots of resources we got her down.
The prob might not be no.of visitors but it could be some scripts which could have been consuming higher resources once ur traffic started increasing.

even now if hostgator asks u to move to dedi, don't move directly to dedi. Goto VPS, when it runs u out then u go for dedi

    Hi,

I think the solutions for that is VPS, becuase you are the web admin and you have the full control in your server.

about the management, do not worry there so many providers now offering free managed services.
