I think eCheck is safe...The entire process takes 3-5 business days.

I just learned how to hack into PayPal accounts. I got into my first one and I'm looking to purchase a website I saw in the Sites section of DP. I think that most people will think e-Checks look pretty legitimate so I figured I'd send the payment like that and wait patiently. That way it doesn't seem like a scam, y'know?

    lol jk

I just received a large e-Check for a website that I'm selling and I wanted to know if it could be from a hacked account. I don't want to lose my website and the money, too. I contacted PayPal but still no answer so I thought I'd try here.

If amount is big then always prefer to go with escrow payment IMO (just for a safe side).

I know. The guy raised so many red flags. He didn't want to wait long for the payment to go through and he didn't want to send me an email from the PayPal email address the e-Check came from. I'm just going to refund him when the payment is cleared.

well,Don't ship items until you receive payment.:)
I think if you get the money via echeck, then there is no need to pay fees, right?

I know not to ship until payment is received, I'm not that dense. I've only received two e-checks before and this is the second one. I'm not too familiar with them and just wanted to know if they can be sent from hacked accounts. Doesn't seem like anyone can give me a definite answer though. :(
I have no clue about the fees...

That was a response to a moderator and he responded back. Obviously it isn't against the rules, and you'd know this if you actually read through the entire post. Daft.

I know, right? I spaced it out and everything. It's so easy to see the "lol jk". Post padder perhaps.

    P.S. - I'm not a guy...
