It is up to Nick how he wants to handle it, but I am sorry, I am not willing to honor the no reserve auction. I never told nick to do that, and I never even told him he could do an auction for it. I just said he could get me offers on it.

Many people may think the site is only worth $500-$1000, but as I said, the domain is worth $5,000-$10,000. Just this month I have sold 3 .net domains for similar prices:
    Diapers.net for $10,000
    Hormones.net for $7,000
    Jogging.net for $8,500

I would not want to sell the domain without the site because it would lose all the search engine traffic and the #1 ranking. But, the buyer could shut down the site if they want after they buy it, or sell the content to somebody else.

My buy it now price is $10,000.

I am not sure where that popup ad is from. I don't run any popups on the site, so maybe bidvertiser is sticking a popup ad on there via the banner ad. Since I don't have any popups I can run myself, it does not really matter to me. If I don't sell the site, I will figure it out and remove the popup.

No, you can't run Adsense ads on the site, or ads from most of the major ad networks. But, there are probably much better paying ads that could be run other than bidvertiser. Adultfriendfinder.com ads might do well, or maybe the adbrite.com network. Or, the owner could sell ads directly.

I gave Nick full access to my Google Analytics for the site, so he can give screenshots of whatever anyone needs. I only started getting stats for the site on September 12th though, so I don't have stats before then. I can say though that based on the # of ad impressions each day, the site has been getting pretty much the same amount of traffic every day for many years.

If its up to Nick (the broker), then you can't say you're not willing to honor the no-reserve auction. Actually - you should ask the mod to cancel this auction.

these sites sold well because they had a decent name maybe. But the confessions site has way too much sex/rape/incest to even be allowed by adultfriendfinder. Most of those statements if not all would need to be removed - if not AFF would more than likely kick the programme. As for not having Adsense - is there any guarantee that this site would be able to have adsense once the entire site was deleted and replaced with clean confessions? Meaning: has Adsense banned this site? This falls back to the problem of the worth of the site belonging to the domain name being the only value.

Nick requested a few days to have this thread closed, but they have not closed it yet.

Yes, if the site was cleaned of all the dirty confessions, then I see no reason why it could not have Adsense on it. That is a good idea. Adsense never banned the site. I never ran Adsense or any other ad network on it.

I would advise you go to flippa where higher-scale domains of such sort are sold.

But, then the site would only be worth purchasing for the domain... my suggestion - and I know you're a high dollar domain owner - rebuild the site with clean confessions and sit on it for a few months and then get your asking price. That is unless of course you would be willing to sell the domain name only... right now...?
