It's simple the keys to your success in CPA lie with your Affiliate Manager (AM) THat is it, believe it or not your AM is going to be one of the most important people in the internet marketing world. This individual is like a spy, an industry insider who holds all the clues and facts about making massive amounts of money through CPA. Think about it, your AM handles hundreds of affiliates from individuals making $20 a month to those making $20,000 a month and more. He has information on what campaigns are converting, the startegies that are converting right now, the best traffic sources. You need this information, start to build a relationship with your AM, call him once a week minimum, let him know what campaigns you are thinking of running, ask him his opinions, ask him what is converting, ask him about his life, build rapport. By opening up and asking questions and being in contact regularly it will display that you are serious and willing to take your earnings to the next level. Your AM is there to help you do that. Later on in your career when you are making thousands of dollars a day your AM will be able to offer you exclusive offers the network keep held back from the rest of their affiliates and you will also be able to negotiate higher commision payouts for offers. Hi JWestwick, Good post for those who've already been immersed in the game. Any tips for those just trying to get in as well? I've been rejected by a prominent CPA network and the reasons they gave were very vague. From what I understand, it's pretty difficult to apply and be accepted but I'm serious about this and really looking to get involved in CPA marketing in a serious way. Thanks.
Hey Tenners, Believe it or not it is still entirely possible to get accepted to CPA networks without any prior experience, essentially the network needs to know that you can generate them leads and that you are not a scammer or fraud. How are you appling at the moment? do you have a website? do you have experience elsewhere in the IM field? what networks have you applied? First of all, i would like to congratulate you in making this post. Finally someone realizes that us Affiliate Manager's are here for a reason... not just to prod around your website and/or business. Here's another neat little CPA trick. Well it's not really a trick but it's a method in which you could easily get a ton of signups for doing just about nothing. As with most CPA offers they will say you can get put in a raffle for $1,000 or a free Ipad or whatever it is. Well if you could make a small flyer that has this opportunity on it, saying fill out the form on XXXXXXX.com then you have your ad. Now with that ad you (or you can outsource this to someone) can go down to a local library and/or college. Place these around the tables or desks and in chairs where people always are. Now some will ignore it but A LOT of them will not ignore it and they will get on the computer and fill out the form. I've used this method myself and made some really good returns. I spent about $50 in paper getting all my flyers out and then another $50 paying two people to lay out these flyers. So I spent $100 but after all of that work I had 30+ signups resulting in over $1,000. Not bad for half a days worth of work and $100 investment
Hey guys, Thanks for all the PM's I've received from this post, just a quick follow up for you all. Remember you're AM is there to support you and help you make money, they can tell you what is converting well and what traffic source is bringing in commissions, however your AM is not a coach or mentor, they will not guide you step by step on how to make a successful and profitable campaign. It's up to you to TAKE ACTION and test things out, experiment, only by actually implementing some campaigns will you start to understand the business and establish where your strengths lie and what works for you. This was a merely a post to inspire new people to the CPA game the value of communication, especially with your AM who can cut through the vast information out there that could be confusing and/or overwhelming, many newbies here, once they get accepted to a network, are then suddenly left in the dark about how to make good money through these offers. There is a such a stigma attached to AM's and getting accepted in the first place that when newbies are finally accepted they're afraid to open up to their AM. Use your AM gain his insight then go out and start promoting offers today. Good Luck.
A good affiliate manager is your best friend! They're hard to find though. Just don't annoy them by calling them too much, that won't get you anywhere
I agree good method, but you need to show them that you could become a big player and have access to large sums of capital for investing in marketing and advertising then they'll start to give you the time of day. If you just come across as a noob that's just looking for someone to hold hands with then they won't even give you the time of day because it'll be a total waste of their time. I had a friend that said he had a lot of look registering a company. Get yourself company name Whatever LLC, Whatever S.A. or Whatever Ltd or whatever part of the world you are in and create IM contacts with your company name like AIM: Whatever your email address it's worth the investment of starting a company because you'll start to get treated as a serious player and not just a ball boy.
