Apart from bidvertise (who endorse to much porn imo) what other adds are out there that are on par with google. I feel like im getting screwed over by google, according to mytracking device my adds should have really picked up over the last 5 day (from 1 or two click to 4-6). /my page count has also almost doubled however google has decided not to show any clicks and has show a big fat 0 for the last 5 days running!!!!! (this has never happened before) I have confronted google about this is the politest possible way, however they have responeded with some run of the mill answer "due to nature of our algorithm, we cannot disclose any details about how our monitoring technology works" and "Please also note that we do not endorse or encourage the use of any particular click tracking tools. We recommend that you exercise caution when using third-party software to ensure that you do not violate the AdSense Terms and Conditions" So they wnat me to just lay back and trust them after they have shown they are untrustable! So what are my alternative, who is the biggest competitor to adsense, wheres a link, are they any good and what do I have to do to change astalavista adsense.....
why do you say that, it doesnt make sense that my page views would have doubled but my clicks droped to 0 for 5 days running! What evidence do you have to show that google are counting your every click? it seems odd that script would have counted 2-9 clicks each day and google would have counted 0? If anyone has any scripts the soley trust for tracking outward clicks im intrested, and intrested in any other sources of revenue bar bidvertise!
these are my last five day, yes its a new site, yes the clicks are low, but it still looks a bit strange to me, maybe im wrong, but why would a script im using from myBlogLog lie, is it unreliable? It will depend on how the tracking device works. Google has much more time and efford into creating a tracking algorithm that excludes bots, SE spiders, keyword tools etc. It's very possible that the tracking tool you use might mistakenly view a bot visit as a click.
hmm, okay. Are there anytracking devices that are trust worthy and do not go against AdSense Terms and Conditions? I dont really want to relly on the people who are paying me to tell me how much they should pay me
I think youll find with javaScript (assuming the script is written in this) there is more than just one mouse event, no? onMouseOver onMouseOut onMouseDown onMouseUp I would hope the script would use onMouseDown and not onMouseOver, it would be rather silly otherwise, and my outlink mouse overs would far more than 9 (I mouse over more than that on my own site!!!)
You gotta trust your boss at work...wont you ? So is the case with google here... I have seen instances where automatic adjustments to earnings have been made after a week if legitimate...
Ok, I suppose. But I would probably complain if I wasnt getting paid for the hours I was working, and I would be even more un happy if he took away my watch and I couldn't tell what hours I had been working. There must be some trust worthy tracking devices out there.
I was banned from AdSense and have no idea why. Google would not provide any details; they said they couldn't divulge that information due to the proprietary nature of their data. I went through the appeal process to no avail. The powers that be at Google have forgotten where they came from and they obviously no longer care about the little guy. I am now using Kanoodle BrightAds www.kanoodle.com/about/partner.html which is fairly similar to AdSense. They don't have all of the ad layout options that Google has yet, BUT they make up for it with their customer service. I have an account rep that I can call or e-mail directly - and he actually responds! He has even replied to me within minutes of an e-mail that I sent to him on the weekend, when I fully expected not to hear from him until at least Monday morning! They have some of the biggest clients around (MSNBC, Market Watch, USA Today, Fox, CBS, NASCAR, MSN, Associated Press, The Wall Street Journal, Dow Jones, PGA, etc.). Check them out; you might like what you see. I applied to Y!PN, but received an e-mail back from them saying they are currently in beta and that all new members are by invitation only until their release to the general public in early 2007. Hope this helps!
Actually, I have noticed the same disturbing trend: Lately my hits have really picked up on my network of sites as a whole (by perhaps 30-40%) while my adsense revenue is exactly the same. And I have no way of knowing why
You know this isnt directly true, in adloggers case it counts mouse overs only if the page exists via the add placement (look at the adlogger website). And not all scipts are the same
