Hey, I've requested my pin twice, but both times it's failed to come. I've tried a new address, and I've ran out of new requests. Hopefully it comes to me at this new address. If not, I'm going to loose $1000+ Any ideas on what to do if it don't arrive at this new address. ~Sohan
Googles answer for this question "We will mail your PIN to the payment address in your account. You'll then have 180 days to enter your PIN within your publisher account, or to request a replacement. If you do not enter your PIN within this period, your account will be disabled and your earnings refunded to the appropriate advertisers."
Luckily, they don't actually do that. I have an account that I haven't bothered to enter the PIN for more than 8 months and it's still active. Actually, perhaps I should request a new PIN. I really have no idea where that one is gone.
I got mine in 20 days via standard delivery. You should ask google to send PIN via Secure Delivery (DHL) that way you can track it too. I dont remember if it said on their page to request PIN via secure delivery though, try emailing them and ask to send PIN via DHL.
From what I can see in all the Help docs, there is no way to request special delivery of the PIN. They just send it by regular mail. If you can somehow make the request by emailing them directly, I have no clue. But there is obviously a cost to sending it by DHL so I'm not sure how that would work out. I'm in Canada and it took approximately 10 days to receive the postcard with my PIN. Vito
I thought they still added pins to your account and sent them out, i've been with adsense for many years and when they introduced the pin system, they mailed me a pin and I had to enter it for the next payment to be sent out.
Note that postal workers who handle mail in your country *may* be geeky, and may steal something related to Google. Since your PIN comes to you in a folded, sealed piece of paper with a large "GOOGLE" printed on the side, it makes sense that some are stolen. My first PIN never arrived. My second one did.
Other option would be to give some incentive to the postman if he delivers anything from google quickly
pls post here if someone finds out that Google can send pin via DHL on request and deduct money from account thanks
Hey Sohan, Don't you worry about that and just email google asking the alternatives for verifying account. You may be given multiple options including an option to receive your PIN via secure express delivery. And don't you worry about your US$1,000 if you own it you will get it even if you close your account you are entitle to withdraw your earning.
yes, they gave me tracking id, and further I was able to coordinate with DHL on their helpline in pakistan 111-345-111.
