Is Article Spinning Dead?

Generating backlinks through article marketing has been one of the main resources I have used in the past. Spinning one article by using synonyms to replace words to create hundreds of unique articles was working for me extremely well.

Over the past few months, I have noticed a huge drop in the effectiveness of getting ranked. Instead of spinning a few words in the sentence, I now have to spin several sentences and spin the words within the sentences. Even with all that spinning, I find that my sites are not rising as fast as they used to.

I think that Google has caught on to article spinning and changed their algorithms. With all the spinning software out there like The Best Spinner and Magic Article Rewriter, the process has become so much simpler that articles can be spun in minutes. This may have alarmed the search engines...

I am curious to know if anyone else is experiencing the same drop in the effectiveness in spinning articles as I have.

Well, you at least answered a question I had. I had run across the term article spinning yesterday and had no idea what it was. Unfortunately I can't answer your question though.

Google is now very capable of catching badly spun material. If you use one of the collaborative spinners, your output will contain LOTS of grammar errors. Unless you catch these manually, and fix them (as tedious as writing the syntax manually) you'll leave an enormous footprint, so you're basically wasting your time. There is one spinner, of course, that spins automatically, and doesn't suffer from these problems. Ahem. See signature. Ahem.

As tedious as it may be, you have to proofread your articles to make sure that it makes sense, there is no such thing as an automatic article spinner that will make complete sense...

for example if you are writing about seo and use the term links....you may get synonyms such as connections which will not make sense.

You can use manual spinners. It's not dead. I still believe closed link wheels which people believe Google can catch very easily to be effective still.

I don`t think google implemented an algorithm against spinning articles... If something like this would be true, then all autoblogs should be dead by now ^^ and believe me, they are not...

    Hi,

One possibility might be such spinning edition articles have appeared on other blogs or sites since those article spinning software and PLR articles would be used by many sites.

    all the best,

Yes. That is quite true.... It's not that they have implemented any negative algorithm, but most genuine sites cant go long term with spun contents. Auto blogs come and go and they are not worried about the life of that blog. most people want to establish a blog that is an authority in the field

I don't really use an article spinner myself.
I always thought that spinning an article decreases it's quality.

Try spinning a sentence, rewrite the sentence, then try to compare the two. The rewritten sentence would be much better to read.

I myself prefer to rewrite the whole article itself though. With that, I still end up with a second article with better quality than if I spin the same article.

If I spin an article, where can I submit it to? Cuz I am afraid that the article directories will not accept it.

google keeps updating their algorithm. Most spinners use code, thats pretty much what the google algorithm is, so they always catch up to the spinners

article spinning is not dead, just make sure after spun, check the article with copyscape and fix several lines

You're submitting the article not the code.

always double check the work after you spun. Because sometimes, the article doesn't make sense. and do CS.

it will depends on how you use your article spinning. Not only you need to check the grammar but also you need to change the word count, keyword placement and density of course. IMHO
