How many Conversion Tracking codes for this campaign?

    Hi everybody
    I am about to start a Google Adwords campaign.
    This is the structure of the campaign:
    1 geographical area (USA)
    4 ad groups
    8 ads (2 for each group)
    Every group is linked to a specific Landing Page, for a total of 4 LPs.
    My question is:
    How do I have to create the Conversion Codes structure?
    1 code for each LP?
    1 code for the whole campaign, i.e. the same code in all LPs?

    Fabio,

    This is all dependent on your website and the "completion page" and what you will be classing as a conversion

    1. Online Purchase?
    2. Sign Up?
    3. Online Enquiry? etc ......

    If all LP's complete with the same page "Thank You For Your Order" or "Thanks For Submitting Your Details" etc you will only need 1 conversion code, however if all LP's have a different purpose individual codes can be implemented.

    No, the purpose (purchase online) is the same for all LPs but I don't have the chance to put the code in the Checkout page; I have to add that each LP has a different product on offer (although of the same typology).
