Hello DP members, I recently bought 5 million email addresses from a guy, he said all are valid email addresses. I tested one folder which i picked randomly that has 10,000 email ids. I found 1400 of them on facebook. So the email ids seems to be valid, now my question is what should do with them? How can I earn money with them? I have a couple of ideas, but looking for best ways. Ok, here is my income blueprint? Identify a hot niche Hire a freelancer to create an info product or software Do an email blast (assuming it's an opt in list you have) Sit back and watch the money roll in
Even I did not test all the folders, just checked 6 so far and seems more than 10,000 valid, there are people to be using facebook with those email ids.... I don't expect all the ids to work though, I have just spent $37 for the list... so not a big deal, 10k working ids would be great for me out of that huge list for the money i have spent. Maybe you can create your new facebook account.... and then add many friend as you can from your e-mail list.... and then invite all of your friends to your fan pages..... promote your affiliate link at your fan pages.... i think this method is lot of better tnah spamming....
Did I say that i will spam them? I am asking for ideas to monetize the source i have. If I want to send an email to them, i will send occasionally. I have a bigger list and cannot send emails frequently even. I am looking for a better way that helps both the ends.... Well I am even against to spam, i have this idea already in mind... looking for even more ideas, before i implement anything. Also I am thinking to send email to all the list occasionally, probably once a month with some free give aways. I can then be able to do some permission email marketing! It would be wise not to use the list at all even though you plan to email them occasionally. 99.99% of the time email addresses in such list have been harvested without the permission of the owners. It just takes a few complaints to potentially destroy your business. I've tried with co-regs before, which is even better than buying a list of email addresses and yet despite sending 'soft approach' emails- introducing who I am, giving freebies, etc, I still got all sorts of many 'undesirable emails' from them. They come from all sorts of different race, countries and no nothing (and not interested) about online business at all. It's really not worth it... Start building your list from scratch and maintain good relationships with your subscribers. It's PROVEN to the best and safest method...
Thats may be true, I will take necessary precautions though. Even if get 1% conversions that is more than enough for me for now. I have started implementing it, so far got fair results. I have designed a squeeze page and offered a freebie, got 23 email subscriptions so far. I have sent email to 9705 email addresses and within a day i got 23 subscriptions. I will never try with Money making or any such related offers, I will try micro niches only and will offer good freebies. I am planning to implement facebook method. Will keep this thread updated

It is highly unlikely that an email list of 5 million opt-in people, you got for $37. It seems to me like it is just a spam list
I said i got some subscriptions as well, so they are not all spam ones... i used a double optin and got 40+ so far till now... he might have got it cheaply, he did not have sales letter, no hype and no website... he just sold in a forum "webmaster talk" and got a couple good reviews... I have got it long back and i did not remember the thread, also i came to DP leaving that forum(i don't have much time to follow two forums) I will think of it
