How to attract designer to sell their templates

I need to attract designers to a well designed, secured, fast loading site http://www.templateswork.com .

The site is designed for designers to sell their templates very easily.

 

Advertise where designer go online or try print advertising in designer magazines.

 

That is a good opportunity for the designers. All you have to do is offer them a real and secure way of earning. Promote your site via Social Networking sites and join in forums. And write good articles that are true which can promote your website, collect first many buyers who wants templates and designs for you to make, the many the buyer you have the many seller will go to your site.

 

I agree, advertise where designers are. Target them (they're even here at DP). You should also be guest blogging at famous webdesign blogs (add some tutorials, some advice). Or you can use Facebook to target designers and people who like design etc..

 

I just started advertising in Facebook. I am not sure DP have targeted ads system. I need to check with them.

 

If you think about it, you have to focus on 2 different areas, buying and selling. I just went to your site and really had no idea where to go. For example, there wasn't anything that said "Buyers go here". Sellers go here. See what I mean? Me, being a buyer, I just closed the window. Did not feel like having to click on a bunch of stuff to find out where to go. If I were a seller, I would close it again. A well designed site has a little clear navigation to help the visitors.)

Thanks for your feedback. Initially we thought of making two different section one for buyer and another for sellers. But after careful analysis we found that site like ebay, and etc site doesnt split it. As a buyer you can directly buy any templates with a couple of mouse click.

I would like to get some feedback from others about the site.

 

First, your site looks excellent. I see a TON of potential in this site. Second, if you want to attract more template designer they will have to sell higher than $1-4 bucks. A lot of template sites are $20-100.

Just an opinion, good luck. Everything looks awesome.

 

There are so many ways in promoting those... grrrr....
