I'd like to suggest a unique feature/forum for inclusion into the Buy/Sell/Trade forum. What's that feature/forum I'm suggesting? Well, I would like to suggest two forums to be created within the B/S/T forum: Domain Trading and Website Trading. Sound odd? Well, it's not, and I think it would be a great and unique feature for Digital Point. This would be a forum where webmasters do not want to sell their domains or websites, but instead trade them off for other domains or websites. A domain for a domain, a site for a site. I've been thinking about it for a while now, and really now I am really intrigued by it and would like to suggest it as a great new feature to DP. If you're confused by my suggestion, or have any questions about it, just ask and I'll try to explain it more or answer your question as best as I can. (I'm thinking of this because I see a lot of webmasters selling sites because they're not experts within the category of their website, such as someone who owns mostly arcade sites who owns a credit card site for some reason. Maybe that individual could make a request to trade that credit card site for one that would fit his/her network of arcade sites..)
Nope it's not, what he means is ... we Generally have Buy/Sale section, where you pay money for the sites! He wants to suggest a section, wherein if you have a site on a topic that you have lost interest in. You can put it for exchange with someone and mention the topics of the sites that might interest you. For eg, say I have a game website, but am bored of them or I feel am not able to promote them anymore. I can list that site and mention that k, I want a music site. So the other webmaster can get in touch with me accordingly. I think a Barter Section would be a more appropriate word. I personally feel it's a good idea. Let's see what the other mods/admin and other members think about it. Repped you EGS
I have seen that there are many people willing to sell their domain names against too little wanting to purchase them. However, probably there are even fewer wanting to trade their domains... or who knows
New forums are made as the need arises. Personally, I have not seen enough posts about trading websites that it would warrant it's own forum.
