.tv Domain - Any Good?

    Hello guys I have found a term that I want to rank for but all the other extentions are taken.

    The only one left is .tv. What I want to knw is that If I buy this domain and have loads of content do SEO on it, can it rank 1stpage or even #1 for my key term.

    Can I beat all competitors with a .tv domain. I have been told I can but just wanted your opinions on it

    Yes,why not,you can beat your competitors with .tv domain in search engine rankings,rank first for any keyword or even rank on first page if you do proper SEO.

    A good .TV domain name must have something to do with video, film & animation.

    Color.TV in my opinion is better then Color.COM

    Google TV will boost the .tv names for sure so your investment could be a very good idea.
