Is traffic from orkut and myspace bad?Please help!

phew...got a few companions here. But my friend, what you think and what actually happens can turn out quite diiffferent!

 

its so difficult to get the right seo, too much competition....orkut n myspace traffic should be allowed, especially the non spamming traffic!

 

Confirmed from google... They say YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY VISITOR TO YOUR WEBSITE and ANY UNWANTED CLICKS to your ads!!!! so beware while throwing links to anywhere... kepp in mind only we are RESPONSIBLE

I think I gotto agree with you, why take a risk of a lifetime ban for a few extra bucks....its a bit too authoritarian, but well..its Google!

 

i think traffic is harmless until its is normal...if one traffic com 10K and other day 1K then it can made your account suspicous

 

Of course, that goes without saying. Well in that way my traffic is more or less stable...so I guess I can now be a bit more hopeful of my prospects with google

 

but just hope i dint violate the TOS too much.....if this is viloating the TOS

It's the target. If you have a site about fishing, and you joined myspace groups only about fishing, then put some messages there with a link to your site, for sure that traffic will convert and you'll get returning visitors. Myspace in this case it's only the first "love", after that people now your url and will visit it directly.

Of course if you have a site with let's say 100 uniques a day, and then one day you have 900 uniques (all from myspace), that will raise a big red flag, and you are getting trouble.

Like in everything about life, you need to target. When you are with a group of people and they are talking about cars, but you don't know nothing about cars, you'll be most of the time very quietly on your corner only listening. That's the same thing for traffic. If you want traffic from my space, it must be very targeted like the example of the site about fishing that i gave.

if you send a bulletin to thousands, you'll brind many people that don't like the niche and nothing will convert, and a red flag is raised.
