I usually take around an hour for a 1000 word article if I am experienced in that. If I have very little or no knowledge of the subject, I will probably take 2 or 3 times more the usual time. I generally do not write articles below 1000 words. Yet to provide content writing services.

I'd very much like to see that statement verified. The only conceivable way I could think of doing that would be by using a dictation software and knowing a lot about the topic. Even then it would be a huge stretch. Either that, or a very loose definition of "quality" is being applied here.

I'm just starting out I find I wrote one article last week of 2000 in 1hr 20mins another of 500 words in 2 hours and another was 4000 and took 5 days, depended entirely on the amount of research required.

My 500 word articles take me between twenty and thirty minutes to finish, but my speed of completion goes down if the article is part of a long series of related articles because after a while I just start running out of ideas and it takes a lot of effort to avoid repeating the same phrases over and over.

I must say that in order for you to write a quality article you must first know about what you are looking for. Even though it is not what you interest most readiness through simultaneous reading and research is a basic skill you must work around before writing. But its a huge plus if you are in a certain topic that you interest it won't take awhile to write a quality one. By all means and as a self-assessment I can right 1 quality article in 1 1/2 hour. Thank you.

Thankfully...they do not need your wishes!

Or is it just sour grapes?

Good to know they are already getting the best.

Myself, my best is always the next article because I keep on improving. I do not have much to say about my knowledge of article writing. My buyers tell me all I need to know with their payments.

I wish you all the best, too, even if, by the looks of it, you are too good to need any good wishes. Pride, I keep reminding myself, always comes before a fall. You, of course, are too good to need any reminder.

You could say for once in life you are right...
I do not need reminders about anything...
    Especially from people like you!

Why don't you take a break???

    Looks like you need it.

It really depends on the topic. For more advanced topics for an article it could take about 30minutes to do a 500 word article. For Justin Beiber? 5minutes.

And BTW, thisoldman & vna. You both can't even use proper grammer in this topic. lol

Well, that really depends on what is the topic that has been given. For instance, if we are asked to write about something difficult such as the science of managing people, it could take all day.

Writing an original 300-500 word article takes me 30 minutes to an hour depending on how motivated I am at that moment. Sometimes I can also squeeze research into the one-hour time frame as well depending on how much goes into it and how quickly my brain and fingers are flying on the write-out. For tougher topics, research can add up to another hour.

Its hard to give a definitive answer, a lot depends on the topic, if its one I am familiar with and doesnt require a lot of research about 1 hr for a 500+ article. Ironically I find it easier and faster to write the longer articles such as 2000-5000 words. Usually because you get into the stream of it and the words just come as opposed to stopping and starting for shorter articles.

Depends on how familiar I am with the topic.
Say around 40 mins to 1 hours for a quality 500 word article. I dont write a lot so my speed is probably on the slower side.

I've written plenty of quality 500-word articles in 15 to 20 minutes, though I like to plan for at least 30. But granted, I had years of on-deadline newspaper writing experience so that really pushed my speed up. I also type over 120 words a minute.

For complex articles requiring multiple interviews, I allow 2-3 hours for the actual writing itself but usually get the writing part done in an hour or less.

    Peace,
    Stephanie

10-15 mins for 500 words usually. It varies a little bit depending on how familiar I am with the subject.
