How to Create Hompage link in Wordpress ?

Can anyone tell me how to create a hompage link ?(which should appear only on home page not as sitewide) .......

I am using wordpress ,,,,, hope you all will share the information with me

Is this what you want? You can choose a static page "Home Page" as front page; the option is available at Settings -> Reading

 

Mate i want to place a link on the homepage ......i have a homepage but i want to place a link on the right side of my homepage........Is it needs coding or is there any options available in Wordpress...?

 

Link in home page only and home menu link.

hi mate ........i want to add a html link in the existing homepage of my site...........

 

Download index.php from your theme folder for add html menu. If u want to add in side, download sidebar.php

You can add html menu there.

 

Some themes has option to add widgets on Home Page.
