Furthermore to demand the impossible so that they could blow up the synagoge together with the hostages.

The govt is silent on this, at least for now.
The attempted attack was foiled by local authorities on September 23rd.

We'd only be hypocritical if we were saying it was okay for Foley (or us) but not okay for Mr M.

As it is, we're saying it was wrong for everyone. Since you think it was okay for Mr M but not okay for Foley, that by definition makes you the hypocrite.

Amazing that the discussion has turned from Islam to homosexuals and pedophiles. The latest story I heard on the issue was that the page (who is 21 now) was 18 at the time. Far from pedophlia.
