Yes, why ask here ? Let's close this place. Every business have a call center, right? or even a small support system, right ?
Well, let's close all the forums and just keep the one for chit-chat.

Both Yahoo and Google are very picky about where you can put the ads.

I've heard better sarcasm at a garage sale. There's no reason for him to ask this question here, because no answer he gets is definitive, because only YPN can give him the aye or nay. And your answer?

Is even more worthless than your stab at sarcasm. Check yoself before you wreck yoself.

wow, some of you can be complete jerks. The guy asked a simple question. If you cant help him, dont respond. ITS THAT SIMPLE. Maybe there is someone who has experience in this area, maybe someone here reads this who owns a sex jokes website and can give him a definite answer. GEEZ

Thank God a bright mind shedding some light. (Not sarcasm, thanks Brinked!)

I really wanted to use more a direct response like yours, but I opted for the, in opinion of others, infamous, sarcasm.

jackburton2006, really, please think about it. Responses like that from Amcy, does not help forums at all. Basically, they are telling people go the hell out of here. When forums are supposedly to help each other. Even if they're asking something that should be ALSO asked somewhere else, that doesn't make it bad to ask here, TOO. Even if they question is plain stupid (which is not this case).

Now, my opinion was short but very clear. I don't see what's wrong. I know Google would look bad at such site. I guess, Yahoo will be as strict as Google.
What kind of contextual ads would sex jokes attract ? ads about other sex jokes sites? At least I give one opinion, mine.

    Brinked - Right on.

I hate people who tell others to shut up, because THEY thought the question was illegitimate - the question cops. Jack is ALWAYS is too full of himself, haven't you noticed? This is a GD forum - that's where you ask questions. Remember, there are NO stupid questions - just stupid answers.

Don't pay any attention. The rest of us are here to help you.

LMAO. Surf, you hypocrite. You whine about me not helping the OP, but at least I addressed his question. You, on the other hand, didn't even BOTHER to address the OP's question. All you did was butt your nose into a thread so you can be all high and mighty (how's the weather up there?) and didn't even take the time to say anything in regards to the OP's question. Your post, then, is utterly worthless in regards to this thread.

Banned by a "fake signature", I don't even know what does it exactly mean, specially when the user had 8 months on the forums.

Anyway, does it justify shutting up people ? I don't think so.

AmyCy's response may have been short and to the point but it was by no means unhelpful as you and the others seem to indicate it was. Now personally I don't think the OP cares (he was banned for using a fake signature, so that means he posted just to get his URL out, which means this entire thread has been one big spam, etc), but here, let me step into the OP's shows as someone asking this question:

I go to a forum, ask a completely generic question about what I can and can't do. Now I'm asking a forum full of people who can't REALLY give me a definitive answer, so all they can really do is give anecdotal 'answers' (I did this, I didn't do this, this happened to me, etc). What does that do for me? Butkus. Ten people will tell me ten different things. My question remains unanswered because these types of questions are open to debate.

BUT, one guy is short with me, tells me, "Don't waste your time on the forum, go ask them directly," which I do, and SHOULD have done in the first place, but was either too lazy to do it, or didn't know I could. I get my definitive answer DIRECTLY from them. Ah, now I have my answer, instead of 10 different OPINIONS from 10 different people who can't really assure me of anything.

At the end of the day, the short and tough answer made me do what I should have done in the first place -- go right to the source. Instead, you and the others want to give me a bunch of unhelpful "Maybe, maybe not" answers. Tell me which is more helpful in the final analysis?

Plus, if you thought AmyCy's answer was deserving of a sarcastic rebuttal (meaning you believe it to be wrong and offensive) then that is just beyond me, because i see nothing wrong with it at all.

Sorry, but your reasoning is flawed. only YPN can give you a definitive answer. Period.

Why would you trust anecdotal evidence when you can get a 100% reliable answer straight from the horses mouth -- and from a very quick phone call?

Unlike that other contextual advertising program, Team YPN offers some truly excellent phone support. Use it. ;)

    Hi Jack,

    Great response.
Sorry, I've been away, intense project time (sig).

I am becoming noted for unrestrained righteous indignation (sig). It always gets me into trouble. If I can just get rid of the GD snarkiness.

I'm sure we will get along just fine in the future.
C'mon. We've both got ZEAL! TRUTH WILL OUT!

Sorry about the post - restraint is the better part of righteousness. I get moody.

    AmCy -
Is your horse's mouth the pharmaceutical company?
Thanks, Hon (affectionately, not derogatorily), but at 62 years old, I've learned that anecdotal evidence is the BEST evidence of all. It's real. As opposed to ... visit my site, under "medicine" . . .

I still thinking that "why ask here?" was rude.

If I was the owner of this place, or any place, I wouldn't like that anybody tell to anybody to go ask in other place, regardless how """useful""" that could be.

I wasn't being rude. I was simply asking a question, and offering some sound advice to boot. If I had added a expletive or a pejorative term to my question, that would have been rude.
