I have had these two domains sitting around for a while and i want to get rid of them I know they are trademark infringing but i didn't know anything about that stuff when i first bought them. Any idea what these would be worth (if anything)?

What is the negative value for domains that put you at risk for a lawsuit? A lot less than zero. Just drop them.

Personally i fail to see what the problem would be as long as you clearly stated that you were not related to the Xbox brand or anything to do with it. Although with trademark names like these you would need to find someone willing to buy and build on them. You could maybe get your reg fee back but that would be a push.

That's because you obviously have no experience with trademark law. A disclaimer is not going to prevent trademark infringement - a person has to visit the site in order to see a disclaimer, and by that time, the "theft of traffic" from riding their goodwill has already taken place. Microsoft has already taken legal action or had the domain turned handed over on over 10,000 domains. They have also sued many for cybersquatting seeking damages of $100,000 per domain. There is absolutely no question the domains alone are trademark infringement.

You're both right. I will make a suggestion and by no means am I a lawyer. First keep your domains and use them. It's not worth it to bill gates to sue you for making his brand that much bigger, launching fan sites, and promoting his products. Sounds pretty redundant when you put it that way. Secondly he has to prove you are harming his company with it's size and that would be damn near impossible. Thirdly you're trying to promote it, albeit turn a buck or 2, you're helping his brand unless you're bashing the system -highly doubt it.

Those a regreat names and with a proper approach could gain some traction. To answer your original question, the names are worth anything unless you build on them. Unless you owned laptop.com forget it. Put up some review & blog sites and see where it is 6 months from now. I gaurantee you can turn a profit if you spent 2 hours a day with them.

Don;t worry about cyber squatting unless you're actually doing it. like I mentioned before, put up a WP site and start posting.

Wrong. Microsoft doesn't have to prove you are harming the company - it isn't even a defense if you could prove you were helping it. They just have prove a likelihood a confusion by looking at the domain name - which would be a slam dunk with either of these domains. I really wish you idiots who are not an attorney's or have which actual trademark experience would stop posting stupid guesses.
