    Hello Experts,

I've got a questions regarding links.
If suppose I've 5 websites and all those websites hosted on same server so obviously those website will have same IP address as it is shared hosting.

Now if I do interlinking between these website, is there any negative point doing interlinking these website OR Google will treat it as normal?

    Please let me know....

    Thanks in Advance!

    They will have feeble effect.
because diversity of the backlinks is an important factor ( here diversity of IP addresses counts ) which contributes to the quality of the backlinks.
And I am sure you have heard that, it is quality not quantity that matters.

At worse, links will count for nothing, but wont have a negative effect.... imagine your competitor getting some ip as you with a crap site and linking to you.... not possible.

you will get penalized if you do this on much larger scale, if you have jus 5 links its ok.

Do not worry about anything bad happening. I have over 20 sites on the same IP. BUT....I only link the ones together in the same niche...that is key.

    I say go for it!

I myself the same question someone told me that it can't have a negative effect but like high roller suggested that the same inch helps keep your blog links look good to visitors. But I do know that it really doesn't help you in Google PR

What about linking between servers in the same geographical location?

Say, for example, I had 10 servers located in a single room, all of which have independant IP addresses. Would Google recognize that sites are linking between these servers because of geographical location of the server?

If Google has found that these sites are a source of enough spam then they would probably devote the resources to check for it.
