Pretty much what the title says. Is it possible to make decent amount of money with Clickbank? Just looking for an opinion, or perhaps a personal experience.
I did earn some money with Clickbank using direct linking and PPC (I received the cheques). So it is possible, but I would not recommend direct linking and PPC, because the cost of PPC advertising is too expensive. So now I try to employ new techniques of affiliate marketing using blogs and articles.
It is definitely possible to make good money with ClickBank, but it requires work like with everything else. If you got any websites up with a good CB product in the niche, test it out.
You'll make more money with Clickbank when you learn to target demographically. Here's what I mean, find a product you want to promote in clickbank, or a CPA network. Now use quantcast.com to find out the specific demographic of the buyers of this product. If it doesn't come up, then use something close. For instance I put "fat loss 4 idiots" a popular diet product in clickbank, in quantcast and it tells me the demographic is mostly woman 30 to 50 and a whole bunch of other specifics. Also sites they usually visit as well....(sites that you can specifically target with placement targeting) Now in google you can use the demographic targeting to find other sites in the content network where this range of 30 to 50 women hang out, and put your diet ads or banners (image ads) there for pennies because you are not targeting those expensive keywords related to [lose weight] or [diet] etc. Get it? This is huge...I hope you understand.
The key with any affiliate promotions, period is to build a trusting relationship with your readers and then of course - doesn't matter if it's clickbank, paydotcom, or elsewhere. It's weird - some people trust CB and some don't. As a seller, I like to promote on multiple places to give everyone options. There's a lot of good stuf fon CB but make sure you take time to buy a review copy and actually know if what you're promoting is valuable or trashy.
I'm thinking of trying Clickbank out. It definitely is important to do careful targeting. Good advice here, thanks.
For sure, demo targeting is good, good way to find a nice CB product to promote for a website you already have too.
try a couple facebook ads to target your audience directly for example, a dog training book to dog lovers
Nope. It's impossible. No one makes any money with Clickbank - in fact, the network is so bad that DP created a separate Clickbank subforum just so we can all talk about how we don't make any money with it.
Yes it is possible, but you have to promote more than one product 'good product' , or find lots highly targeted traffic, and/or sometimes have a semi-automated/automated systemmake 'decent money'...
What do you use now to make money? Thing is, it's definitely possible to make money with clickbank...i get my commission paid into my account every fortnight...But its a total different game compared to CPA or owning your own products. Generally clickbank is a little harder to convert...but it definitely makes money.. What types of promotions were you planning on running?
