Golf balls on ebay... buy a box for $9.95 that has 10 in and sell them each for 69 cents each. Currently making a net loss of $3.05 a box but it keeps me busy. That was a joke but seriously nobody is going to tell you what they are selling, how they're marketing or their site or anything like that. Learn the hard way what sells online.
The sales depends on where your target market is. My Target market is In India.. where the e-commerce spending is not very high. People here are too reluctant to buy products online as compared to other countries like in US / UK/ Australia etc. However I have noticed the sales have been increasing manifolds each month. This will continue to increase as people will be more confident in buying stuff online.
Yes Indeed. Infact we are among the pioneers in the online shopping in India. All it matters is to sustain the initial slow phase to reap the future benefits. It is just as same as any Offline Retail. The Biggest Mistake Online E-Commerce Owners do is hope to start getting High Orders in the beginning itself. However you need to build a strong confidence among the buyers First.
My best ever month so far was 14,524 English pounds selling hypnotherapy products. That was last January when everyone is therapy mad to help them with news year's resolutions!
How long is a piece of string? When a tree falls in the forest without anyone there, does it make a sound? You are asking a question that has no real answer, there are many factors that lead to successful online selling and if you have done things right and have a product that has no time specific requirement, then you should see all year round.
I thought it was a pretty simple question, that normally has a pretty simple answer. If you don't know what your highest month is with your online business then you should think about going back to school and learning accounting.
Learning accounting is not going to prevent someone from having a highest month? I work within the fancy dress industry and we obviously have peak times over halloween and christmas but with other markets open to us, we tend to maintain our sales throughout the year. All you have to do is get a product that isn't going to expire through the year and you would reap the reward. For example, if i was to push London 2012 items, i can assume that nothing will sell for 2 years and then the moment that the event finishes, traffic becomes nothing but reference - hence no sales.
Right. But it'll help you record and understand financial information to the point where you do know your highest grossing month since you started out. The question isn't that complex, I understand that for most it maybe around the end of the year.
