There are forums that generate loyal fans . I'm convinced that even DP has some people that are addicted to it .

You've been here barely a month, so can hardly claim to be addicted. I went through a phase of 30-40 posts a day back in the good old days. Times have changed.
I've not being on here for like a year, just getting back into building websites so i'm back but have never being addicted.
It's the best place for buying/selling without having to pay fees (flippa, sitepoint, etc)... I am not addicted, but it's a great place.
