Uhh.. No, they don't.
Usually 2 weeks is long enough for earnings to stabilize.. I would recommend turning on ad-targeting, and waiting another 2 weeks or so, or, trying alternatives..

 

no, it is all about economics, more publishers but less advertisers.

to much supply - publishers, lesser demand - advertisers

on my game niche, 2 years back, CPC = 0.08, now 0.04 if u are lucky...

yes, it definitely depends on the niche how many bidding how much etc., I have some that are as low as yours, seen .01 and some that are over $5 per click, wish THAT happened more often though

 

To activate targeting, setup a custom channel.. In the channel options you will see the targeting option. Remember, you will have to copy the new ad-code to your site...

Check the Google adwords external tool using the keywords your site is optimized for. The CPC is how much people are paying Google on average for the keyword. Take 68% of that and you'll have close to what Google should be paying you per click on your site.
