Can you point me to some really good Article Directory sites? I am trying different methods to help increase traffic and I was told this was a good method to use. Maybe some of you use this method and have some good directories to send me to.

In my opinion, submitting one article only to some quality directories is better than submitting it to a lot of directories because search engines detect them as duplicate copies so they can't help you a lot.
So its not needed that you search for a huge list of article directories.

Apparently you do not have a good understanding of the concept of "most-up-to-date".

It has nothing to do with the names on the list but rather with the data contained against each name i.e. page rank, alexa rating and classification into dofollow or nofollow.

As long as an article directory qualifies to rank based on its data, it can even remain on the list for years. Ezinearticles for example is likely to remain on the list for years given its antecedents. So, seeing many names you are used to seeing on other lists does not make the list "outdated"
