Looking for an alternative! AdSense doesn't work for me!

Discussion in 'AdSense' started by miksy123, Nov 12, 2010.

I started my website 6 months ago (or even more) and I earned only $6 with thousands of pageviews. I am currently removing AdSense from my website and I am looking for some alternatives! Can you recommend me some CPM networks? It doesn't matter if they pay 20-50 cents per 1000 views! For me, it's important that they do pay! Are there any other monetization methods for my free wordpress themes website?

    Thanks!

Adsense could work for you. Maybe your doing something and is your CTR or CPC low. And $6 for a few thousand pageviews? I would like to have that for my gaming websites....

I question the link in your sig. as well but I am just a noob here so please dont mind me , LOL
I hear AdBrite can be a good alternative to adsense but have not used them myself. Have you looked
into doing more testing, placement, text ads vers. image etc. etc.,

I think adsense cant be replace by any other ads for small publisher. If you have lots of traffic then only you should go for other adnetwork.

You should try Infolinks. It worked much better for me than Kontera.

Now infolinks is best alternate of ADSENSE but if adsense not works it means nothing will work. You are doing something wrong with ad placement, color/design, position thats why earnings are poor.

Share your link so we can suggest better ad placement/color to you.

I've tried them all! For me, on my site, i have had the best success with Kontera and just recently, IDG Tech Network. I'm actually very surprised with IDG Tech - I put 2-units in spots that Adsense never earned more than a few $$/day, and the IDG Tech units are generating over 10X what that Adsense units did.
I recommend that you try everything, and keep what works.. Then, after 6 months or a year, try everything again.

    Kevin,

I'm not so sure Kontera is the best option! I Took a HUGE POLL on inline ads and Infolinks was the clear winner. Also John Chow is recommending infolinks.

If i had to choose an alternative to google (google is def. the best option) but my alternatives would be - yahoo publisher network, infolinks, and of course affiliate ads from a cpa network, amazon, or CJ.com

    Best,

    -C

6 months, thousands of pageviews, $6? Sounds reasonable to me ... I get 'thousands' of pageviews and $6 some days. Note days, not months. Your problem isn't adsense, it is traffic.
