About a week ago I started promoting a Clickbank product on one of my websites, and now I must say that I really regret I have not done that before. This website was making about $50 a day with Adsense. Now it makes about $40 with Adsense and $60-70 a day with Clickbank, more than doubled my earnings on this website. I've tried lots of other alternatives to Adsense, and none have really come even close to matching my Adsense earnings, but Clickbank really does, it actually makes more than Adsense. Clickbank works best if you have a website in a small niche there is a good Clickbank product for, it's not for any type of website. I know this is the Adsense forum, but I just thought it would be nice for all the Adsense publishers out there to know about this. Check it you, you might end up doubling your income like I did.
This site is in the Games niche, would work for any niche there is a good information product about though, any type of internet business website, self improvement, travel guides, whatever really. Tons of different types of E-Books on clickbank. Clickbank is also perfect for those who have the problem with getting low cost per click in low paying niches, for high paying niches AdSense will probably pay more.
Ditto, myself I have found that earning anything reasonable with Clickbank is a bit tough, I know there are many that do, but its usually the so called "Gurus"
My website traffic has reached 2000 visitors per day in a sort of internet business topic, business templates. The problem is Adsense CPC falling from $0.40 to $0.10 over the past year. Could you please, please recommend a suitable product for my topic. I have tried vistaprint printing affiliate program with no luck. And if possible, show me an example of a successful CB implementation. Thanks a lot! The falling CPC is depressing...
I have one Guide to the game my site is for, the first article on my website is about this game guide, where I write a little bit about it and give them the hop link so they can buy it. I also have a link to this game guide at the bottom of every post above the comments. So check if there is a guide to the game your website is about on clickbank. I also promote the affiliate program Only4Gamers, http://www.only4gamers.com, it's just an E-Book that teaches you how to become a professional game tester, should work for any website in this niche, and it's converting ok for me so far, but the game guide converts much better.
Yeah, it's depressing with falling CPC for sure. Like I said in the other post, I link to my affiliate program after each blog post, and I also have one link in the sidebar. If it is an affiliate program that doesn't fit exactly with what your website is about, I think you should write one blog post about it, explaining why it is a good product and why you choose to promote it, something like that. That's what I'm doing on my smaller websites now where I don't have a product that fits exactly the visitors I have. You could also do split testing with a javascript/php on a few products and see what converts best. I don't have any websites in that niche, but I'll let you know if I come over some I think would work well.
Also, when I'm looking for products, so far I've only gone for E-Books that have a fairly short sales page and an easy to find "order now" button. I only go for high gravity products unless I find one that fits exactly to my website visitors, with at least 50% to affiliate, preferably 75%. Gravity helps me decide between different products that are more general and not super targeted to my visitors. I would much rather have a low gravity product that is very targeted to my visitors than a high gravity more general product though.
