After log out/in, I see the difference. Bottom of page (with sliders) is now viewable without scrolling to get there. Thanks.:)

If you know the filename, you can use the new search feature. After you find the "lost" file, you can move it into any folder you want. Thereafter, it will appear in that folder.
I hope that FS will correct this problem as soon as possible.

    Hi,

We are looking at the renaming files error...

For now, navigating in sub-folders is working.

    Regards,

    Hish

We have decreased the sizes of the right and left column, therefore, you will have more space to see the names of the files.

I've been able to reproduce the problem but in my case, I can find the file on the root folder.. Can you confirm it is not in the root folder (check in page 2, 3, etc.).

    Thx

Maybe you did, but you should search in 'All folders' (=you should select 'All folders' just beneath the search box field).

I tried it again, and the copied and renamed file is NOT in the root folder.
    This is what I did.
    1. I took a file in a subfolder
    2. I made a copy of that file (the copy appears just below the original file)
    3. I rename the copy (by clicking on the little pencil icon) into something like '0000000filename.zip' (so that the file appears on top if sorted by name ascending)
    4. I click on 'Manage Files' (just to refresh the whole file manager)
    5. I go to the subfolder, and the file is not there.
    6. I go to the root folder, and sort by name ascending: the file 0000000filename.zip is not on top
    7. I stay in the root folder, and sort by date: the file is not on top (if it was in the root folder, it should be on top because I just created that copy)
    8. I stay in the root folder, and search for the file with 'All Folders' NOT selected: I cannot find the file
    9. I stay in the root folder, and search for the file with 'All Folders' selected: I can find the file (but don't know where it is).

If you want, I can give you the filename of the copied/renamed file by PM; it might help you to find the location of such a copied/renamed file.

EDIT: this whole story was for nothing because it seems to be solved now. Yes, now I can see the file in the root folder on top if sorted by date descending. That's fine. Thanks.
EDIT 2: and the copy remains in the original folder after renaming. That's fine too!

    Good work!
