well $10 is enough since he just want some answer and help. but if i were him i just look around the thread regarding that. but, yes a single person is worth and not time consuming than looking for answer with many people with different perception.

Here are the bare bones basics 1) you have a site - any niche - fill in meta tags, description, keywords etc... 2) add google adsense code you are given by google adsense that let you set up ad units based on the width and height that matches best for your layout 3) google ads display after the page loads - based on the words that are loaded on the page - it will display relevant ads - the relevance is also associated with your browsing history. 4) someone goes onto your site - adsense then loads their ads (catered to their past browsing history/ mixed with your content) 5) if a user clicks on an ad on your site - you get credit applied to your account 6) if you reach 100$ in credit in your account google sends you a check or does direct deposit (depending how you set it up) Now rinse/repeat and you're making some decent passive income. read through this forum to find ideas and how people place their ads- this is a great place to find out what colors/placements work for the best clicks. This forum also gives you some idea of income potential - but not many people are eager to share their site ideas, just because if it works for them you'd really just need to copy and paste their info on your own domain name and u'll end up with a piece of that pie - (its not a nice thing to do though - not very ethical to grab someone else's code/design etc..) Have fun with it, i stumbled on many niches i never thought about that end up making me decent $ - so i suggest you try a bit of everything - and don't expect to get clicks right off the bat. It takes time for a new site to be indexed by google, i noticed that frame is around 3 months. I created a simple site and kind of forgot about it because the traffic was non existent, but after about 3 months - BAM! i have now over 500 UV / day and making some 20$/day go and explore - don't meddle with black hat type advertising and don't buy traffic - u'll learn so much!
You can learn the basics of adsense but if you don't have a stable amount of visitors then you won't get any profit out of it. So if you have a website but don't generate any traffic then i should focus on SEO first and after that adsense. You can find a lot of information on DP and basics like the post of splavik are quite usefull for starters.
Agreed. You don't have to pay anyone or buy a book. You can find what you need right on the internet.
DP here can provide you information about adsense more than what you need. most of my adsense knowledge are from DP though.
research on net about AdSense for sometime,you will have the experience by yourself,nothing is better than this. Good input makes good output.
