to answer the question, if you consider 85,000 USA visitors a month popular (according to Quantcast), then yes it is popular. http://www.quantcast.com/fiverr.com
I would not use Fiverr personally, a friend of mine thought he was on to a right result when he purchased hundreds of "so called" quality links to his website, only to find out most of them were from gay porn sites. lol safe to say he won't be using it again.
Fiverr isn't as popular as some make it out to be, there are plenty of imitators, and the market can quickly get saturated, it is no different from the many freelance sites, except people post what they are willing to do for a fiver
Fiverr is start of my money making life. I made $75+ out of it in one month via Graphics Designing. There is only one thing I hate about Fiverr. That after you complete a work, you must wait until 14 days for the order revenue to be cleared so you can withdraw it. That's indeed annoying but it's a good money making site. You get work and money easily there for sure.
I was a fan of fiverr but then I moved to ScriptsListing Marketplace which is far better and has greater opportunity of earning than fiverr. The concept of making gigs is almost the same but the best thing I like about ScriptsListing Marketplace is that you can earn up to $50 per gig.
yes...fiverr is very popular.....it is great place to outsource stuff...... but they also great place to buy cheap services...
I think this is very good idea, finally people can get what they want. I doubt i will ever stop using it !
I had to cancel two jobs I bought on Fiverr because the people never responded and didn't do the work way after deadline. Now I'm waiting for my refund but it's taking forever. The other jobs I bought turned out fine though...
I've been using Fiverr to outsource tasks - especially things like having my affiliate links tweeted to a large number of people. Remember to read their reviews before you spend any money. I've gotten as many as 15 sales in one day by having someone tweet my affiliate link for $5...no work on my part...and that's pretty nice...
If you are talking about using Fiverr to outsource, it's great, if you are talking about using it to make some money by doing things for other people. Besides that I haven't used Fiverr for anything.
I used to a fiverr member but then I realize that $5 jobs makes me looks like really really amateur I tried jobsfor10 and it gets me a better result. We can offer $10 for "full" task, $5 for "half" task and $20 for "double" task
Almost the same concept with ScriptsListing Marketplace where people buy/sell services. It's the fastest way to earn money nowadays.
