Hi all! I'm asking you guys if you can give me any adivice: what internet marketing strategy would you employ (or you did employ) to quit your day job as soon as possible. For me this would require steady income of around 1000$ to cover loan and expenses, and as little investment as possible. I mean I would need some real deal strategy, not some hyped up thing. I'm programmer (I'm not that good in writing skills) - if that helps you to give me some specific directions. It think it will be interesting to hear from you
Hey, I didn't quit my job yet, but I will when I get like 2 or 3 x more. So if I earn 500€ per month, I'd quit at 1500€. But one more thing is also important - don't rely on only one money making path, like only Adsense. If something happens to it, you're screwed. But of course, you can still then get a new job and Adsense will be here for years. There's also a topic on this forum, with like hundreds of replies, find it.
Well your new, so I'll try to be nice and honest at the same time. This is the wrong mindset. Working on the internet is somewhatly like starting your own business. You should not think its really important to HURRY.
With the idea of starting your own business in mind, you said you're a programmer. That's a skill not a whole lot of people have. What I recommend you do is try to come up with some idea for software that people would find useful but doesn't have 1000 different versions on the market already.
best answer your going to get.. do what you love, i've tried to begin many projects just to make money off them and yeah theyre great...for a while.. then after a couple months i just lose interest thats why i now just blog about the stuff i love, like computers and music. i have a good time, earn money and im constantly inspired
You should judge your capability with true honesty, what you can do and what you should do, just find these answers and you will find the answer to what will you get. Don't make decisions in a hurry, try to give some time to online work daily and when you think that you have enough money making sources online then you can leave your day job.
Read the forum. You will learn from it. Apply it immediately. If you spend 10 minutes learning something, spend 10 minutes applying it. Don't get analysis paralysis! Or you could always become a sales rep for me! Lol
Important to give it time. I've given myself 2 years to get a decent income, and 4 to maybe replace my ordinary job.
A dream of mine as well....work at home full time. Anyways, I imagine it can be done, but it takes both a lot of work and skill set to accomplish it.
if you are a programmer, i think the best way is to design a software of high demand and low supply and sell it online. this is good money.. but to do this, you must first have a really good software.
Hey people, this is some truly inspiring stuff! Thank you for your advice, I will take it in account.
Keep your attitude of wanting to quit your job. Not enough people make concrete goals. Make very concrete and distinct goals and do what it takes to achieve them. And THIS is the best advice I can give. I wrote out on a piece of paper an exact amount of what I wanted.. which is $4000 a month in 5 years (online). I then put it in 6 different places. I have it taped to the top of my laptop screen right now. I have it by my bed, in my bathroom to read first thing in the morning, in my car, in the kitchen and at work on my computer monitor. In 4 months I've gone from $0 a day to over $400 this last month (on track for over $500 this month) with AdSense. I'm already well ahead of my goal but I just keep trying to achieve even more than the day before. My monetary "secret" is multiple sites. I have over 30 now in just those few short months. I just keep churning out material from 9pm - 2am every day... and I do very little social networking. Article submission is highly recommended. More importantly though.. If you think of earnings coming in slowly, they will.. and too many people engage in this thought. They accept that because others have said it will take a long time, it must. Ask why? Only you can control this.. not the words of others, so believe what you will. If you think, believe, dwell and insist on earnings coming in quickly, they will. The link building, keyword analysis, social networking and everything else website related should all be second to this. Your thoughts create your life. And this leads me to the last great great great piece of advice I can give. Go buy 'Think and Grow Rich' by Napoleon Hill. Read it.. every night for a while. After a while, you grasp the reality of how thoughts really do create the very road before you... and you start to understand that it's more than a phrase.. it's a key to anything you want and you'll start reaching out and insisting on getting it. Best of luck to you and keep increasing the faith and confidence in yourself and your dreams. And now... that 2am period has arrived (I managed to finish a bit early tonight and enjoy coming here and reading) so it's off to dream..... Kind Regards, Amy
Well, now I feel like a teenager trying to make out in the HURRY with his sympathy at her home before her parants show up.
The future is based on innovation. Many of the demanding ideas have been already been done, so your best chance for a high payout is to try a game changer. Unless you can identify an problem that people would pay to have solved, that you can make, and is worth enough money to satisfy your goal which is possible but is a much harder accomplishment. Examples of game changers: Amazon Web Services (cloud computing), Twitter (micro-blogging), WordPress (encouraged open source a lot), Spotify (music streaming) and YouTube (online success for anyone). They are all were problems that were in market which weren't identified, which lead to a game changer by making things better for them and eliminating problems they did not realize they had. Most of them were built out of innovation and the others were built by solving their own problems which lead to other people being in demand of them. They are all multi-million dollar companies with sufficient potential to become a billion dollar company or possibly multi-billion dollar companies.
