What you're going to need to do is get a copy of Filezilla - the world's most popular open-source FTP program (File Transfer Protocol - $0.00 - just Googleâ„¢ it). When you open the program, you'll see the screen split into 2 panes. You'll need to get the following info from your host; your FTP hostname, your hosting account username, your hosting account password, and the port number - USUALLY 21. This information will usually be found when you login to your hosting account, but if you're lost, ask the host. Once you press the "Quickconnect" button, the program will log you in. The left screen pane is your local machine (YOUR computer), and the right screen pane will be your host's server space reserved for you.

You then select the files on the left side and drag them to the right which will automatically begin the process of file transfer from your computer to your hosts' server. What you do then is to set the file permissions by right clicking on any file. USUALLY, all files are set in permission upon upload at 644, which allows the files to still work. Hopefully there are instructions with the script to let you know if you need special permissions for any file in the script. I've tried to keep this explanation as simple as possible, but if you need more questions answered, think of what they are and feel free to PM me. Good luck!

I use FTP Surfer, nice and easy to use - search for it on Google.

If you have no website yet and just a holding page, make sure you replace the "index" file, with your own content.

You may want to try FireFTP, its easy to use and will become part of your FF toolbar.

You are right, TKY_Publishing. I am using Filezilla to upload my content and get them to go live.
