Love doesnt exist. Everything is always an illusion. No one will ever be true and hoenst with you so if you believe what your told then your just setting yourself up to be hurt time and time again. Love does NOT exist.
Ahh, I disagree though. Love can go right and it can be wrong. You never hear people talking about "I am so happy in love", you just hear them complain when it fails.
I hear plenty of people talk about being in love and being happy. That's the way I'd like to be. But I'm not holding out for a fairy tale romance. If I'm single for the rest of my life, so be it. Sorry, but I'm not holding my breath on crazy expectations that my Prince Charming will some day sweep me off my feet. I believe in real love sure, but I'm not holding out that it will definitely happen for me.
The real problem is that people expect love to happen a certain way. You meet, you fall in love, you marry, have kids and expect it to last forever. This is NOT a realistic approach. Although you may love someone unconditionally, it can still fade for you. You can wake up one day and feel completely different about the person. You can't go into a relationship and EXPECT it to last forever. Love is supposed to fade and have it's ups and downs. Nothing is meant to last forever. I'm not saying I dont believe in love or soulmates. i'm just saying that maybe we're meant to have several soulmates and each of these soulmates are meant to teach us something different. Use these experiences to learn and grow and understand yourself and the world a bit better. As far as I can tell, people take the concept of love too seriously. Sure, you're gonna get your heart broken and break someones heart eventually, but that's life! Don't grow bitter and resentful because it was painful. Instead, absorb what you have learned from the experience and try not to make the same mistakes again. Love is tough, but it's worth it!!!
I have never been 'in love' so to speak but i have felt something similar, lust. Some people confuse lust with love. Where the attraction is sexual - the person ticks all the 'magnetic' boxes. After the deed is done the 'craving' disappears. Sure you may date for awhile and learn you haven't much in common and break up. I believe love is acquired in a relationship where all passions, desires and aspirations of both parties are taken into consideration - and it grows stronger and stronger over time. A perfect union where you can jump any hurdle or obstacle as a team and result in glorified serenity. A definitive spark leading to a life long journey of undeniable 'love'. But...it may not last forever.
I believe in love and i am in relationship also. So i would like to define LOVE as the PUREST RELATION ON EARTH.
